Feature Designs
This collection highlights my editorial and print design work, where I explored the balance between structure and creativity across newspapers, magazines, booklets, and conceptual projects. From student election spreads and diversity publications to reimagined food features and AI book covers, each piece demonstrates my ability to craft thoughtful layouts that tell compelling stories through visual design. These projects reflect not only my attention to detail and understanding of design systems, but also my willingness to push creative boundaries within traditional formats.
Student Election Spread
As the Print Editor of The Miami Hurricane for two years, I designed numerous spreads adhering to a specific design guide while showcasing creativity in special feature pages. One standout project was a spread created for the UMiami Student Body Election, where I combined innovative layout techniques and engaging visuals to capture the importance of the event for the student body.

Miami Times Feature Design
For my Feature Design Project in my Advanced Feature Design class, I created a five-page feature for The Miami Times, focusing on breaking traditional newspaper layout rules to create an attention-grabbing design.
The project allowed me to experiment with bold typography, dynamic imagery, and unconventional compositions, all while maintaining readability and storytelling flow. By stepping outside the boundaries of typical newspaper design, I aimed to captivate readers and bring a modern, creative flair to the publication. This project showcased my ability to innovate within the constraints of editorial design.
